Accountant Construction

We are a small fence construction company looking for an in-house accountant. Ideal candidate is familiar with construction, AIA contracts and certified payroll. This will be a full time position Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.

Job Summary

• Reviews, prepares, reconciles and analyzes accounting records and financial reports.

General Accountabilities

• Monitors, reviews and verifies accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness and adequacy of supporting documentation.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies, agency rules and regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Reviews and analyzes reports for accuracy prior to distribution.
• Accounts Payable
• Job Costing
• Provides reports, forms, records and documented procedures.
• Assists in development of financial projections and forecasts.
• Saves company money by finding lowest interest rates and cutting cost

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field
• Experience (Level I): Completion of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license with 2-5 years of related experience
• Experience (Level II): Completion of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license with 5-7 years of related experience
