Job Description Job Description Staff-Up is seeking a Full-Time Public Accountant that focuses on tax, financial advisory to small and midsize businesses located in Arlington, TX. * This is a DIRECT-HIRE position. Job Description: In this role, you'll be responsible for handling tax compliance and advisory engagements in a variety of industries. Qualifications and Responsibilities: * 3+ years planning and consulting at a public accounting firm (Required) * CPA license or EA Certification (Required) * 3+ years in federal tax compliance (Preferred) * Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff * Experience with complex partnership allocations * Good project management and analytical skills * Self-motivated team player with effective communication skills * Experience in managing, developing and training staff accountants * Excellent organizational and time-management skills * Handling tax compliance and advisory engagements in a variety of industries with a focus on Small to Medium sized businesses. * Managing, developing and training Staff Accountants * Work closely with firm leadership to play a key role in business development and firm administration activities. * Review and Prepare Tax Returns * Keeping informed of current tax developments and effectively applying tax knowledge/research to specific client situations and communicating tax developments with team members.
